COMPANIA TROQUELADORA ARDA was founded in 1957. Its initial purpose was to manufacture and distribute metal burners for oil lamps (hurricane lamps).

Two years later, it began to manufacture garden hose connectors.

In 1961, it added the stainless steel clamp line. ARDA was the pioneer in manufacturing this product in Mexico.

Once the fabrication of metal die cuts was consolidated, in 1962 it began to produce parts for trucks and buses (original equipment).

In 1967, ARDA products penetrated the markets of the Caribbean, United States, Central and South America. In 1990, it entered the European market through an intensive export program.

In late 1978, ARDA was restructured. With a new vision and renewed enthusiasm for creating new plans, it expanded. Today, its plant and offices are located on an area of nearly 5 acres (20,000 square meters) owned by the company.
